Corbett National Park

Corbett National Park is the oldest national park of India. Founded in 1936 by the hunter Jim Corbett Tiger is also one of the best protected areas of the country. Within its boundaries live some Tigers, although it is difficult to observe because they are very elusive animals.

Birds are easier to see so many deer and even the Ganges gavial. The best way to travel around the park is by hiring a safari, where the sunrise and sunset times more conducive to see the wildlife that moves through there.

Also you can see the landscape from the observation towers around the protected area. The best time to visit is between December and March. There is accommodation in the park. You can get there by bus if you travel from Delhi (But get ready to travel 7 hours), or the closest Haridwar and Dehra Dun.
