Ao Phang Nga National Park in Thailand

The National Park of Ao Phang Nga is one of the most popular parks in Thailand, relentlessly attracts swarms of tourists, since it is a paradise for birdwatchers, being home to several rare species indeed.
It is also an ideal destination for lovers of marine life, with its impressive variety avian and aquatic life, in addition to the amazing coastline that delights visitors, providing a feast for the mind and heart.

Residents of the Park:

The abundant variety of tropical birds include herons, egrets, egret reefs of the pacific, as well marine life in the park has over 80 species distributed in 24 species of fish, 15 species of crabs, 14 species of shrimp and about 20 species of manta-rays, sharks, crabs, blue crabs, mud lobsters, mud skippers, humpback shrimp, cod and rock Pomfrets, which are some intriguing creatures that are in the park.

Phang Nga is set with an exquisite natural beauty, representing a must for anyone who arrives in Thailand for its wonderful coastline with unusual structures strange, mysterious caves and bubbling waterfalls that attract tourists like a magnet.

Topography and vegetation
Huge blocks of limestone are a unique landscape in the park’s high ground and the blocks are spread in the Bay of Phang Nga, where islands are formed with vertical cliffs.
The bay is full of sediment and tidal surge channels abound nourish the area, the mangroves are the main vegetation in the bay, and the evergreen forests that are also present in some areas.
